About This Site
This current iteration of Plexus Media's website has been created using our WebStarter content management product. As such, it's a demonstration of what Plexus could do for you and your organisation.
Management
All of the pages can be edited by any member of staff, at any time, from anywhere in the world using our easy-to-use web-based admin system. We can also add and delete pages and upload new images just as easily. The administration system is cross-platform - it can be used on both PCs and Macs, using Internet Explorer or Firefox/Mozilla.
News
The latest 10 news items are accessible immediately from the drop-down menu at the top of the page. All older news items can be seen by clicking News and viewing our archive.
Clients
The Clients section contains a portfolio of some of our work arranged by category. You may see a site there whose structure matches your needs. Most of these also run from our WebStarter system, but some are entirely bespoke. We are happy to discuss your needs with you to find the best option.
Search Engines
The site is set up to be very easily spidered by search engines. This can be seen by viewing Google's cache of our main News page, ( click here ). You will usually see that Google picks up the latest stories on it within a day or two of them going live. (Some search engine results are unpredictable - we've had lots of hits recently for Apple Company Background - not sure they were looking for us!)
Statistics
The site collects visitor statistics. Although there are a number of packages and counters available which will analyse your logfiles or count live statistics, the information they give is often very complex. We've created a system which simply supplies the main information which site owners will need -
- which pages on my site are visitors looking at? [Page Views]
- how many visitors do I get per day? [Sessions]
- where are my visitors coming from? [Referrers]

Cost
We create simple but effective WebStarter-based sites from £950 plus VAT. The more complex graphics and structure of this site, along with the implementation of a news page and portfolio mean that if we had been charging a client for this site it would have cost around £3,000 plus VAT.
